"Tessa Chambers is a rising junior and political science major at Swarthmore College in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, outside of Philadelphia. She is committed to social progress through politics and policy. Tessa spent her last summer interning for a congressional campaign in Delaware and dedicates much of her time and energy outside of school work to political groups on campus at Swarthmore. She is a recipient of the Philip Evans Scholarship - an award given to roughly eight incoming freshmen at Swarthmore college who have shown a commitment to improving the world around them in high school and who have plans to do so beyond."
