Wanda Browne

Wanda  Browne is an American businesswoman born September 11. 
She is owner of The Browne Group, a licensed Real Estate Agent by the state of Texas Real Estate Commission, and is currently the Branch Retail Executive at BBVA Compass Bank.  She is also a member of the American Bankers Association (ABA), Small Business Banking Professionals, Northwood University Alumni Group, On Startups-The Community for Entrepreneurs, Financial Services Career Center Banking (FSCC), Jack & Jill of America (Arlington Chapter) and BBVA Compass Employees Group. She resides with her family in Mansfield, Texas.

Wanda was born in Alexandria, Louisiana, the oldest of three children.
Wanda received her Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Management from Northwood University.

For six years Wanda worked as a H.R. Generalist with the Superconducting Super Collider Laboratory. Thereafter she started JWB Home HealthCare Agency in Arlington, Texas. Her mission is to consistently make a positive difference in the lives of others by always displaying a grateful mindset while encouraging others to believe that the greatest part of our happiness depends on our dispositions, not our circumstances.

For five years Wanda worked as a Finance Director/Business Development Manager for Pontiac/GMC/Buick. She then began her Ignite Powered by Stream Energy business where she was the Director for four years. She continues her entrepreneur businesses as a Distributor with Kyani healthcare products and Energy Provider with Momentis

Wanda worked for JP Morgan Chase/WAMU Financial Center as Vice President for 5 years and is currently Branch Retail Executive/Vice President with BBVA Compass Bank.

Wanda became a board member for HEROES at its inception in 1999.

At an early age, Wanda quickly learned that life brings us many tribulations we must overcome. Because of her childhood, Wanda was able to closely identify with those in the underprivileged  population and the challenges to face. It was then that she realized she needed to be a champion of social issues and help improve the welfare of the destitute. She believes that it doesn't matter where you are coming from, but where you are going and that you leave the world better than you found it. Wanda has made a lasting contribution towards creating a better world and has inspired others by her various achievements, attitude and values. She has always been an advocate for underprivileged people. Her belief is through caring, sharing  and action we can make a world of difference to those who often slip through the cracks of our society. Wanda’s dedication and commitment is a source of inspiration and motivation for people all over the  world.
